We know that you work hard for your money and we fill privileged just by the fact that you are on our site reading this page to donate to charity. We are one of the many Christian charities in America but our main focus which is reducing the near 70% unemployment rate amongst disabled Americans is unique. We connect disabled individuals with employers who want to hire them through our online recruitment application, recruitABILITY (www.recruitABILITy.org ).
disABLEDperson Inc. also is a National Employment Network for the U.S. Social Security Administration’s Ticket to Work Program serving all Ticket Holders nationwide. We keep our doors open by receiving a donation from individuals like you.
We need your help. Please help us help the disabled seek employment so please donate to charity. There are approximately 54 million Americans with disabilities. The unemployment rate for Americans with disabilities is somewhere around 70%. Some reports have it as high as 79%. Employers around the country are missing out of the talented workforce pool that individuals with disabilities (IWD) are. The employer’s perception of IWD for the most part is that they are incapable of performing work. Therefore, they preclude the group as a whole as a talent pool. Please donate to charity.
There are only three reasons why an employer would hire an IWD. The first is because the employer or its representative(s) have a heart for IWD. They have a family member or friend with a disability and they look for IWD to hire. Please donate to charity.
The second reason is because the employer gets a payroll tax break if the hire an IWD. Please donate to charity.
Finally, if the employer is working with either the federal, state or local governments, they are obligated to at least attempt to hire an IWD for a quota. Please donate to charity.

You might ask, what about car donation programs? Can I make a car donation to a charity and have it be tax deductible? Is only a used car donation acceptable? What about a luxury car donation? What about a different vehicle donation like a boat or RV?
Car donation programs can be effective for both donors and charities, However, special rules about tax deductions for car donations took effect January 1, 2005.
Qualified organizations that receive car donations after December 31, 2004, must give the donor a written acknowledgement of the donation. This rule generally applies if the claimed value of the donated vehicle is more than $500. This rule also applies to donations of boats, aircraft, and any vehicle manufactured mainly for use on public streets, roads, and highways. However, this rule does not apply to donations of inventory. disABLEDperson Inc. is a member of The Local Charities of America. V-DAC is a car donation service that will make your car donation very simple. They come to your home, pick up the car and do all the paperwork. V-DAC then sells the car, they keep a small administrative amount and give the balance of the money received from the sale to disABLEDperson Inc.
disABLEDperson Inc. receives 100% of the online donation that you make through the Make a Difference icon. We also receive about 72% of the money received through the sale of you car donation. 100% of the money received from both will go to operational costs to keep our charity functioning. There is nothing hidden here.
